About avaycay

Actually, it’s all about you. Here at avaycay I’m here to help!

This weekly blog lives to make travel simpler and more sustainable.

Slow tourism is my jam, so is ethical travel, so you can expect to see those words mentioned throughout. If you’re keen to try out an ethical adventure, well, you’re in the right place.

For me, it just so happens that the more of the world I experience, the longer my bucket list seems to grow.

It’s about quality not quantity. It’s about osmosis.

Who is Lexi?

Hi there, I’m Lexi ! Your ultimate wanderlust enthusiast, and that’s Moo!

We have an incurable case of curiosity.

Whether it’s; surfing in Mexico, hiking the Himalayas, zip lining through Peru, motorcycling around India, karaoke-ing in Vietnam, sipping ‘cawfee’ in New York City, trekking the Kokoda trail, navel gazing in Fiji, learning to ‘tuk-tuk’ in Thailand, eating jamon in Spain, skiing in New Zealand, Tubing in Laos, seeking Mayan advice in Guatemala, cooking in Malaysia, Sea lion swimming in Ecuador, cycling in Cambodia, sipping tea in London, salsa dancing in Havana, learning Spanish in Colombia, Volcano boarding in Nicaragua, snorkeling in Costa Rica or just kicking back here in little old Sydney I’m always intrigued.

I’m currently studying a Master of International Sustainable Tourism Management at Monash University, so you can expect to learn more about the industry with me throughout the duration of the course.

All photo’s belong to yours truly, shot with an iPhone or GoPro. Enjoy as you please.
